I would 110% recommend Jamie to others!!! Jamie helped me sell my condo in Long Beach and has been helping me purchase a new home. So far it has been an exceptional experience working with him. Professionalism: He is very punctual and professional. After contacting him online, I received a call from him the same day. He set up an appointment to meet at a property. He took the time to listen and asked the right questions to understand my goals. We concluded that it would be best to sell my condo to purchase a new home. I was happy with this conclusion. Market Knowledge: Jamie knows the SoCal market very well. He gave good advice on how I should price my condo based off his knowledge and experience. I was able to get $20K above the price I was happy with. On the buying side, we were looking for properties that would fit our budget, so we had to compromise a little on location. Jamie knew that my wife and I are starting a family, so he knows which neighborhoods to stay away from. He wouldn't even show me neighborhoods I should not even consider. Communication: Communication is very important, and Jamie does it well. During the sale, he called me every week consistently and after any important updates in between. We communicated through all forms like text, phone, and email. He always began the conversation asking about my day and how things are outside of the real estate transaction, so it’s not always just about business. After we got offers, he called me right away. During escrow, he was able to communicate any potential concerns as soon as they came up like making sure my furnace was working so the sale would be smooth. He even tried to call the gas company for me to help. He consistently followed up with the buyer’s agent to make sure they were moving their processes along like making sure they were able to get funding. There were some hiccups with the buyer getting insurance, but Jamie kept pushing them to get it done so all contingencies were removed. Fast forward to when we were looking for properties to purchase, he called in every week to schedule showings for the properties we were interested in so that we could see them during the following weekend. He is very flexible to accommodate mine and my wife’s busy schedules. Negotiations: There have been a couple of times, so far, that we went into negotiations with Jamie on our side. The first time was during the sale of my condo. We received the first round of offers. Two of them were at the price I was happy with. Jamie suggested to submit counters for highest and best. Then one of them went above the price I was happy with. The second time we went into negotiations was on the buying side. There was a home that we were interested in. Jamie built a rapport with the listing agent, and they had told him that they wanted to sell to an owner occupier and not an investor. He told them about our situation and had us write a letter to the seller. And so won the contract! We ended up having to back out because it did not work out with our lender, but Jamie was able to get us into escrow. He can form a working relationship with the other agents and secure favorable terms for us. Results: I sold my condo for $20K more than I wanted. Yes, it not so hard in this current RE market, but Jamie was able to deliver. My goals were met, and I can use the money to purchase a bigger home for my wife and my future family. And the process went smoothly. Jamie is very friendly, considerate of my time, very generous, and truly is here to help me achieve my home buying and selling goals. I also made a new friend out of the experience. I would 110% recommend Jamie to others. If you have a home that you would like to sell to upgrade to another. You would benefit from working with him because he will take the time to understand your goals and assure you achieve them. You will also enjoy the process because he is also friendly to work with.
